A few months ago, I was listening to a single mother talking about the brainwashing done by public schools and by TV. She said that “studies” have shown that children who watch a lot of TV begin to act like, talk like and be like whoever they happen to be watching. Therefore TV was bad. I know when to keep my mouth shut so I said nothing and just nodded in agreement - but seriously? The same can be said for anything. If you put your children in church, they will begin to talk like, act like and be like people in church - good or bad. It’s nothing to do with the television, it’s psychology. But only atheists tell their kids to avoid church because it can have such a bad influence on you. Christian branding can cover a multitude of sins, I often here “christian” music in Ikea - you can tell by the musical style then the lyrics just confirm it. Some of it is just not well thought out.

This triangular image has been in the christianity relationship circuit for a while now and the same applies to it. It’s really a chart for anything, a simple mathematic diagram. If X approaches Z and Y approaches Z then X and Y approach each other. Anything can be at the top. Bacon, sushi, drugs, partying, starbucks, strange fetishes, World of Warcraft. It’s like some single person thought of this. It’s nice to have God as a common interest but this doesn’t take into account the two people, according to this any two people in love with Jesus can make a great couple. I know some good single Christian guys and gals - according to this they should just all date each other. But they don’t, because this is wrong. If I were to give a relationship workshop, it would first have to be divided girls/guys. You can’t teach them both at the same time what to do because they both have different roles (suck it feminists). But for now, just know that if you want to get to know someone, start by getting to know them.
